Samsung Galaxy Chat with Qwerty keyboard announced

Samsung announces an entry-level Galaxy Chat smartphone with a Qwerty keyboard and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich loaded on it.

Samsung has formally announced the Galaxy Chat smartphone with Qwerty keyboard and candy bar form factor. It features a 3.0 VGA">QVGA touchscreen display.
The new Galaxy Chat will feature Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz UI layered on top of it. Samsung's own ChatON instant messaging application is pre-loaded on this handset.

Galaxy Chat appears to be youth focused smartphone with two megapixel camera at the back for quickly clicking photos and sharing over social networks. It offers 4 GB onboard storage and capability to expand the storage to up to 32 GB with a micro SD card. Other features of this handset include Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi support, and micro USB 2.0 port.

Smartphone come pre-loaded has loaded S Planner apps and Quickoffice Editor on the phone to add some business productivity aspect to it.
Samsung Galaxy Chat will launch this month in Spain and then will be made available in other markets that include Europe, Latin America, Middle East, China, Southeast Asia, and Southwest Asia. Samsung did not announce the price but claimed that it will be sold at a competitive price point.
