Lenovo K860 Phablet Priced at $345, Available in China With Quad Core Exynos CPU

Fresh after the Xiaomi Mi-2 quad core device, there’s yet another quad core hottie coming out China: Lenovo’s K860 quad core phablet. This device was supposed to belong to the LePhone family, but instead it was moved to the IdeaTab one, probably because of the display size, that’s closer to tablets.
K860 will be priced at $345, at least in China where it’s coming in the following days. The phablet is available unlocked, with a 5 inch 720p screen, a quad core
Samsung Exynos 4412 processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. There’s also a 2250 mAh battery inside and Android 4.0 ICS as the OS of choice. The price is very good for this model, that’s only $40 more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi2, that has similar high end specs, but also a smaller 4.3 inch touchscreen.
It’s interesting to see that we’re dealing with a phablet that has the quad core Exynos CPU and it’s not the Galaxy Note II. This is a big rival for Samsung’s new phablet and I wonder why they let Lenovo have their Exynos CPU. Meanwhile the same CPU was also borrowed by Meizu, so this is not a singular case.
